Dear Parents,
The second progress reports are going home in our coyote folders if you have requested a paper copy. You may sign and return these next week. We finished our unit on multiplication and division this week and have jumped into counting groups of coins! So far, we are doing well with this skill. In Language we have been learning about replacing nouns with pronouns. We also did some creative writing about if we would like the Cat in the Hat come to our house on a rainy day! In reading we focused on The Sign Maker’s Assistant and looked at graphic features. We took our assessment over the pattern of objects in the sky. In social studies We continued working on our economics unit. Next week will be the last week to earn our money! Then it will be time to think about what we’d like to purchase. Thank you to everyone who came to open house! Your children loved sharing their hard work. Never fear! If you did not make it, a lot of their work will be coming home tonight!
*Conferences will start on Monday. Many of you signed up for a time at open house. I will send home time choices on Monday for those of you who could not come.
Yearbooks are now on sale! They are a hardback book and contain all classes from Pre-K through 5th. They are $26 and can be ordered here.
Here is also a direct link in case you need that. And teachers remember that if you want one, please remember to order yours as well!
